FLORAL FORMATIVE ART
TIMELESS BEAUTY

the BEAUTY OF FORM
INSPIRTIONS
In floral design, flowers are generally categorized into four types based on their shape: mass flowers, form flowers, filler flowers, and line flowers.
These categories help shape the structure and harmony of floral arrangements and bouquets. Here, I focus on the unique aesthetic of form flowers—blooms that lose their identity if even a single petal is missing. These flowers hold a distinctive beauty defined by their shape.
I introduce several form flowers: Calla, Phalaenopsis, Lily, and Miscanthus, a graceful foliage that also highlights the beauty of form.

the BEAUTY of
PHALAENOPSIS
APHRODITE
The English name for this orchid is "Phalaenopsis Aphrodite."
Its beautiful form is derived from Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty.
Its flower meanings include "Happiness comes flying" and "Purity."
LILY
Lilies captivate people with their noble form and fragrance.
Their beauty has been cherished since ancient times, even being mentioned in Japan's Kojiki and Nihon Shoki (ancient historical records).
Its flower meanings include "Purity" and "Innocence."

MISCANTHUS
Miscanthus, with its beautiful and flexible form.
The leaves of Miscanthus are soft and can be curled at the tips or formed into loops to create flow, further enhancing their beauty.
Its flower meaning includes "Love that protects."
TIMELESS
There is inherent beauty in the shapes of flowers and leaves.
We can find joy in gathering them to create new forms—floral arrangements, bouquets, and more.
The time we spend celebrating the beauty of each bloom and leaf is a precious and irreplaceable moment of happiness.
Even just gazing at their forms fills me with quiet joy.
